ASSISTANCE POLICY

At Komalingua, we believe that regular class attendance is fundamental to student learning and progress. Therefore, we have established the following general rules:

1. Commitment to Attendance

• Students must attend all scheduled classes of the course in which they are enrolled punctually.
• Absences must be communicated to the teacher or administration as far in advance as possible, stating the reason.

2. Justification of Absences

• Absences due to health reasons, serious family circumstances, or other duly documented reasons are considered justified.
• In case of illness, the student may submit a medical certificate if they wish to make up the missed sessions (when possible).

3. Recommended Minimum Attendance

• For optimal course participation, a minimum attendance of 80% of classes is recommended.
• If this percentage is not reached, the academy may not issue certificates of attendance or completion.

4. Make-up Classes

Group classes cannot be made up unless canceled by the academy. Individual classes can be rescheduled if the cancellation is communicated at least 24 hours in advance.

5. International Students

Students with student visas must comply with the attendance requirements established by the relevant authorities. Komalingua will inform these authorities if a serious breach of mandatory attendance is detected, in accordance with current regulations.
